Mikey has over 24 years professional experience throughout the UK, teaching at his own clubs, guest teaching for other dance companies everywhere from the tip of Cornwall to the heart of Scotland, and featuring on the bill at National Jive Weekend events for organizers such as Jive Addiction, Jivetime, Party Weekender and Holiday Rock.

His reputation has also led to him teaching overseas both for UK jive holiday groups and for local organizers.

Whilst he is renowned nationally for his cheeky humour and laid-back teaching style, at the Club level dancers know him as someone passionately committed to helping them reach their dancing goals, who always has time to break down the technicalities of a move for beginners or advanced dancers alike, or to challenge students to extend their musically and interpretation.
