SalsaJive's  principal dance instructor is Eddi Gibson, Eddi has been dancing since she was 6 years old and teaching from the age of 15. Eddi has taught Latin/American, Ballroom and Disco dancing to children, teenagers and adult students. She was a professional dancer for 10 years during which time she choreographed many shows whilst touring the UK.

Eddi studied Jive and Salsa dancing whilst in London and before coming home to the North East to open SalsaJive.  Dancing is and will continue to be the driving passion for Eddi.

"I can't imagine life without dancing, you hear the music and it just takes over your body. Once you have grasped it, it is so rewarding, the feeling that comes with it. It's great to see everyone smiling, laughing and having fun whilst mastering something new at the same time".
